Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: White Plains, NY

Project Overview

The IT Project Manager will support the execution of client applications within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program, including deploying key applications to support client ERP functions. Responsibilities include reporting and providing updates to the program manager.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate and lead multiple projects as assigned.
  2. Act as the bridge between the business and IT, supporting IT workstreams and documenting projects via IT PMO processes, procedures, and tools.
  3. Monitor project schedules and deliverables, track progress, and report updates to the program manager.
  4. Identify problems or situations impacting project delivery.
  5. Coordinate projects under the guidance of the program manager.
  6. Utilize IT project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) to drive technical solutions and support IT PMO and Governance processes.
  7. Collaborate with project teams, IT teams, and business units.
  8. Maintain communication with project team members and stakeholders, manage expectations, and prepare reports and presentations.

Skills

  1. Understanding of software development processes and experience with IT project management methodologies.
  2. Strong project management skills including stakeholder management, conflict resolution, risk mitigation, organization, communication, vendor management, and experience with daily standups and data presentation.
  3. Organized, communicative, deadline-driven, problem solver, and adaptable.
  4. Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across teams and audiences.
  6. Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  7. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, SharePoint, and M365 tools.
  8. Experience with HCM applications like SuccessFactors, Workday, etc., preferred.
  9. Experience with procurement applications such as SAP Ariba, Ivalua, etc., desired.

Education & Certifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in business or a technical field.
  2. Minimum 7 years of responsible experience managing IT projects in a matrixed environment.
