Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. The Maritime Application Team develops mission-critical software for autonomous maritime systems, integrating core platform technology into robust applications for platforms like Dive-LD, Dive-XL, Copperhead, and Seabed Sentry. The Senior Software Engineer will design and implement user interfaces, microservices, and data integrations to enable autonomous underwater vehicles to become intelligent, mission-capable assets. Responsibilities include developing full-stack applications and services for maritime command and control, building scalable back-end services, creating front-end interfaces for situational awareness, integrating maritime data sources, collaborating cross-functionally, championing software best practices, and mentoring team members. Required qualifications include 3-5+ years of software development experience, proficiency in languages such as Go, Rust, Python, or C++, experience with modern web technologies, understanding of distributed systems and API design, and U.S. citizenship with eligibility for government clearance. Preferred qualifications include experience with Go or Rust in production, robotics or autonomous systems software, cloud-native technologies, real-time data streams, and a passion for user experience and product design. The role offers a salary range of $168,000 - $252,000 USD plus competitive equity grants and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, life insurance, generous PTO, family planning support, mental health resources, professional development stipend, meals, commuter benefits, relocation assistance, and 401(k) plans.
