The solutions architect is a client facing role, responsible for the development of the overall vision that underlies the projected solution and transforms that vision into a solution that can be implemented and achieves the client’s expected outcomes. Accountable for activities around solution ideation and solution design. Understands business context and challenges to define the vision and requirements for the solution. Recommends potential options, selecting the most optimal option (across RFI/RFP and proactive pursuits) Co-creates with the client and communicates how Wipro’s solution achieves the client’s desired outcomes Develops roadmap for the preferred solution, including the bottom-up estimation of delivery requirements and cost Details out appropriate solution, upgrades, replacements, integration, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership. Successfully incorporates alliance partner solutions, acquired entity solutions, assets/tools/IPs in the solution to bring ‘best of Wipro’ to the design Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with architects from other practices and DTAs (for multi-tower deals) Assures solution is not only fit for the specific purpose but also adheres to standards and guidelines of the practice solutions If scope/top-down pricing changes, proactively adjusts and modifies the solution Spends 10-15% of time on building and adopting uniform architecture and standards methodology, changes to standards when necessary In multi-tower deals with a DTA engaged, supports the DTA in developing a streamlined, seamless solution for the client. 10-15 years Delivery Management experience with strong Technical and Domain knowledge.
