The Systems Integration and Engineering (SIE) organization is implementing a major initiative to significantly improve our capabilities and performance. A key part of this is a focus on improving System Design Integration. To drive this effort, we are creating several new technical leadership positions within the Design Integration department.
The Hardware/Software (HW/SW) Systems Integration Lead will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide direct technical assistance to programs through activities such as pursuit/proposal support, independent reviews, and anomaly investigation teams.
• Be an active participant in Systems Engineering improvement initiatives. Improve and maintain formal command media and informal HW/SW integration guidance as well as templates/tools provided to programs.
• Establish and maintain a talent pipeline for HW/SW integration.
• Improve HW/SW integration training material and serve as lead instructor for training classes
• Assist department manager in identification and allocation of HW/SW integration resources to programs
• Support major program reviews including Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), Proposal Technical Adequacy Reviews (PTAR), System Requirements Review (SRR), Design Reviews (PDR, CDR) and Flight Test Readiness Reviews (DTRR, XRR, MRR)
• Support the development and verification of system requirements and document & manage accordingly.
• Offer guidance to Systems Engineering teams, covering the entire Systems Engineering lifecycle, from architecture and requirements development, system integration, verification and validation, all the way through mission operations.
• Some travel may be required
