Piper Companies is hiring a Solution Architect for a large Financial Services Company based on the East Coast. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise solutions across multiple technology platforms. The Solution Architect is a long term contract opportunity and is not able to provide sponsorship. The Solution Architect will need to work in Merrimack, NH, Jersey City, NJ or Smithfield RI.
Responsibilities of the Solution Architect:

Design and implement enterprise solutions across multiple technology platforms.
Lead architecture and development initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
Collaborate with vendors, Product Owners, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
Develop systems based on microservices architecture to enhance modularity and efficiency.
Stand up the infrastructure and ensure seamless integration of new technologies.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams.
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively through presentations and documentation.

Requirements of the Solution Architect:

Experience: 6+ years in architecture, analytics, design, and development of enterprise solutions.
Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Java, Java EE/Jakarta EE, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, and web application technologies.
Microservices Development: Proven expertise in designing and implementing microservices-based systems.
Communication & Leadership: Strong presentation skills, written and verbal communication, and the ability to influence decisions.
Development Background: Must have experience in software development to effectively establish infrastructure and drive execution.
Cloud & Infrastructure: Practical experience working with AWS and cloud-based architectures.

Compensation for the Solution Architect:

$150,000 - $155,000
Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if required by law
