Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr
Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Architect to help shape and drive the direction of their core technology platforms. This individual will provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives, contributing to architecture, design, integration, and hands-on development. Strong experience with C# and .NET is required.
Responsibilities:
- Guide the design and evolution of foundational platform capabilities to support scalable, high-performance systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into sound architectural solutions.
- Research, prototype, and implement advanced technical solutions aligned with long-term goals.
- Provide oversight to ensure consistency between architecture and implementation.
- Identify and recommend architectural enhancements and system improvements.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and frameworks, contributing directly to critical components when needed.
- Lead evaluations of third-party tools, frameworks, and open-source options.
- Contribute to planning, scoping, and estimation for key initiatives.
- Promote engineering best practices, including agile development and continuous integration.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of architectural excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 13+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture, particularly in SaaS or cloud-based environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in C# and .NET , with the ability to architect and implement robust solutions.
- Strong background in designing scalable, cloud-native systems (Azure preferred).
- Understanding of RESTful API patterns and distributed system design.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and influence diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
