Data Scientist ( ML project / PyTorch)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Data Scientist to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in detecting and preventing unauthorized privileged access, using advanced data science and machine learning techniques to safeguard critical assets.

• Working Hours: Mon-Fri
• Working Location: Pasir Panjang
• Salary Package: Up to $8500 (basic) x 12 months
• Job Type: Contract (one year)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML models to detect anomalies and potential security breaches.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance to increase detection accuracy and minimize false positives.
• Collaborate with engineers to operationalize detection models into scalable, reliable production systems.
• Lead, mentor, and support team members to enhance technical capabilities.
• Translate complex findings into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Oversee project planning, timelines, and delivery of analytics solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (PhD preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
• Strong expertise in anomaly detection, behavioral analytics, and classification models.
• Proficient in Python, R, and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience handling large-scale datasets, data pipelines, and cloud-based environments.
