You will be central to our data and analytics transformation, working closely with management teams to achieve strategic objectives and operational excellence. Through partnerships with major data and AI vendors, you will work on transformative projects that aim to revolutionize marketing, distribution, customer acquisition, and internal processes. Our advanced data systems will provide management with real-time performance data, enabling swift, informed decisions and agile business adjustments.
You will also leverage our strategic relationships and equity positions in leading tech startups. These collaborations are about creating genuine competitive advantages across our businesses, involving projects that reshape industries, harness cloud-based supercomputing, and collaborate with major universities shaping future technology.
The Position:
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer with extensive experience across the stack and expertise in modern frontend frameworks, especially React.
This role involves building scalable, high-performance applications and making architectural decisions that influence our platform's future. You will work closely with product and design teams and own complex engineering challenges from conception to deployment.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications with a focus on frontend development
- Lead the development of React-based user interfaces, emphasizing component architecture and performance
- Create and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, and data models
- Architect scalable systems and contribute to high-level design and planning
- Ensure code quality through testing and best practices
- Collaborate across teams to deliver complete product features
- Mentor junior engineers and foster peer learning
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in building complex, scalable applications
- Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, including state management and component architecture
- Experience with Node.js, Java, or similar backend technologies
- Solid understanding of database design, with experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and modern design patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the stack
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Skills:
- Experience with GraphQL or WebSockets
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience in high-growth or startup environments
Benefits
Compensation: The base salary for this position is $190,000, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including medical and financial benefits.
Position Location: Preferred location is Santa Monica, CA. Other locations may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
