Key Responsibilities Of The Chief Financial Officer

• Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the CEO and Board, providing insights and guidance to support organizational growth, sustainability, and mission alignment
• Lead the development of comprehensive financial models, multi-year forecasts, and scenario planning to guide strategic decision-making and long-term planning
• Design and manage an annual budgeting process that aligns resources with priorities, engages departmental leadership, and promotes accountability across the organization
• Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reconciliations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards
• Produce timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and provide clear, actionable analysis to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identify trends and variances, and translate complex data into strategic recommendations
  

What We're Looking For In a Chief Financial Officer

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
• Experience: 10+ years in accounting, with 2+ years in a leadership role
