Job Description:
The insurance Actuarial Group of Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd., is currently recruiting for a Lead Senior Pricing Actuary to support Everest’s Casualty Insurance business. This hybrid position is based out of Warren or New York City offices. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, eager to learn and develop, and interested in developing new tools and capabilities within a rapidly expanding business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Large account pricing referrals
- Continuous communication with Underwriting and support for strategic initiatives
- Development and enhancement of rating models
- Planning and portfolio strategy
- Portfolio price and risk monitoring
- New product development
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in property-casualty insurance, with significant commercial line pricing experience
- FCAS certification
- Excel expertise is required
- Proficiency in at least one of the following is a plus: SQL, Excel VBA, Power BI, R, SAS, Python
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to foster collaborative relationships
- Flexible and responsive to dynamic business needs, including tight deadlines
- Comfortable working autonomously with responsibility and visibility
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and quick learner of concepts and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with both analytical and business stakeholders

Compensation:
For NY only: The salary range is $150,000 - $210,000 annually, based on experience, education, and location.
