Job Title: Corporate Controller
Location: Remote
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Type: Full-Time | Exempt
About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, collaborative and experienced Corporate Controller to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset.

This role requires a proactive problem-solver—someone who can navigate ambiguity, research independently, and apply their foundational skills to figure things out even when they haven't encountered a specific scenario before. The ideal candidate is resourceful, adaptable, and confident using their technical background to find solutions and drive results.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounting team and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Oversee general ledger operations, consolidations, intercompany accounting, and financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Manage external audits and coordinate with external auditors
  • Own key accounting processes including revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable and reconciliation and analysis
  • Collaborate with Consulting business to ensure accuracy in financial reporting
  • Drive process improvements and automation efforts to scale accounting operations as the company grows.
  • Assist with ERP system implementation, driving best practices around accounting policies—including revenue and expense recognition.
  • Provide financial insights and support to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and ensure appropriate application within the organization.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team, providing coaching and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership position (Controller/Assistant Controller)
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting issues
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm) strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth or mid size corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing accounting teams and scaling financial operations.
  • Proficiency with Workday ERP and strong Excel skills.
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with M&A and integrations a plus
