We’re seeking Risk Managers to support large, heavy-civil infrastructure programs—including highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), and airport projects delivered through both traditional and alternative methods. You will build and run robust risk-management frameworks, lead risk workshops, quantify cost and schedule exposure, and turn raw data into practical mitigation strategies. By flagging threats early, shaping contingency plans, and keeping every stakeholder attuned to the big picture, you’ll help projects stay resilient, predictable, and ready for success. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: establishing and maintaining risk-management plans, processes, and governance framework aligned with contract requirements and funding-agency standards; facilitating qualitative and quantitative risk-identification workshops; reviewing baseline CPM schedules and monthly updates for logic integrity and risk readiness; performing Monte Carlo or comparable simulations to quantify potential cost and schedule exposure; merging risk data with schedules, cost forecasts, and change logs; conducting forensic schedule analyses to evaluate contractor delay claims; supporting procurement by evaluating commercial and delivery risks; preparing risk sections for funding applications and board packages; championing continuous improvement by calibrating models with historical data and mentoring project teams. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or related field, 10+ years of hands-on risk management experience for large (>$500M), complex, heavy-civil infrastructure projects, experience with traditional and alternative delivery methods, proficiency with schedule risk analysis software and project management software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications include active professional certifications such as PMI-RMP, AACE DRMP, CCP, or PMP, experience as an owner’s rep on large civil-infrastructure programs, and experience with advanced analytics and visualizations.
