Expected compensation: 70.00 - 75.00 USD Per Hour
HireArt is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find an experienced Project Manager, Real Estate to oversee the entire project life cycle of design and construction for the company's various real estate assets.
In this role, you will own project delivery beginning with pre-lease site due diligence and project planning through project occupancy and closeout. Projects include various typologies (including office and amenities to engineering/R&D, manufacturing, testing/proving grounds, fleet operations, fleet charging, and fleet service sites). Project sizes, complexity, and budgets will vary from $50K to $30M+.
We are looking for someone who’s extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of project delivery, including fiscal and schedule, design, construction, and delivery.
As a Project Manager, Real Estate, You'll

• Lead multiple capital construction projects of various complexity from initiation through close-out.
• Be responsible for the execution of the entire project lifecycle. This includes pre-design, RFP, contract negotiation, design, engineering, bidding, permitting, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage all facets of a project, including comprehensive budget management, schedule, procurement, quality, and risk.
• Partner with internal cross-functional teams at all levels to develop project programs and work plans to meet project charters.
• Drive internal and external stakeholders to meet the deadlines required per the project schedule.
• Lead the development of highly optimized designs with both internal and external partners.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of industry experience with 3+ years of direct owner-side design and construction project management
• Expert knowledge in procuring, analyzing, negotiating, and directing architect, engineer, vendor, and contractor contracts and other legal documents
• Comprehensive experience in the following:
• Leading capital projects between $2M and $30M+ and in technical (R&D, manufacturing, industrial, or related) design and construction
• Directing architectural and engineering design and reviewing and commenting on associated documents and specifications
• Guiding both general and specific design decisions for a large variety of project typologies (e.g., from office/amenity to a drive-in thermal chamber to a manufacturing facility)

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. This position will be hybrid (requires at least 3 days onsite per week) and available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.
