Position Overview

They are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Real Estate Private Equity Associate to join their investment team. The Associate will play a critical role in underwriting, acquiring, and managing a diversified portfolio of residential and commercial properties. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to deepen their real estate investment skills and contribute to a fast-growing firm in a strong market.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation, and underwriting of potential acquisitions and dispositions across residential and commercial asset classes.
• Perform market research and due diligence, including analysis of property operations, competitive positioning, and local economic drivers.
• Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda, presentations, and board reports.
• Support asset management efforts by monitoring property performance, coordinating with property managers, and identifying value-add opportunities.
• Participate in negotiations with brokers, sellers, lenders, and other counterparties.
• Coordinate and manage third-party consultants (appraisers, engineers, legal, environmental).
• Track portfolio performance metrics and contribute to quarterly and annual investor reporting.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and execute investment strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in real estate private equity, investment banking, real estate investment sales, or asset management, preferably with exposure to residential and commercial real estate.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and real estate valuation tools.
• Familiarity with property-level underwriting, deal structuring, and investment committee processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Deep interest and knowledge of the Miami real estate market is a strong plus.
