About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its team at a pivotal moment in its evolution. The CFO will be responsible for elevating the financial function to meet the demands of a rapidly changing philanthropic landscape, including navigating liquidity constraints, tax reporting complexity, and intricate fund-level management. This role is central to the implementation of a bold new 10-year strategic plan, and the successful candidate will be tasked with modernizing financial systems, enhancing the treasury function, and expanding impact investing capabilities. The CFO will also be a key thought partner, ensuring that financial stewardship is aligned with the organization's mission and community needs. The ideal CFO for the company will be a strategic, business-minded, and mission-aligned financial executive with a strong background in technical expertise and operational discipline. Emotional intelligence and a passion for equity and systemic change are also essential. The role requires a leader who can provide forward-looking insights to empower strategic decision-making, and who is energized by the opportunity to lead in an organization that is deeply rooted in the community and poised for bold innovation. The CFO will work closely with the executive team, Board members, program staff, and fundraising leaders to ensure the foundation remains fiscally sound, operationally excellent, and indispensable to the future of the community it serves.
