Job Highlights:

Skills - Must Have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or EA designation completed in the US
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of Tax experience with a public accounting firm in the US
• Must be based in New York or New Jersey and able to work at either office
• Experience in tax planning, returns and compliance (high-net-worth clients, estate, trust and private clients)

We are actively seeking a full-time Senior Tax Manager with Trust and Estate experience to join our growing team! The position is open to hybrid, only NJ/NYC candidates will be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Be a leader within the Private Client Service / Estate and Trust practice of the Firm
• Develop, supervise and mentor members of the Private Client Service / Estate and Trust team
• Coordinating tax compliance and planning responsibilities for our multistate environment
• Maintaining visibility in the Estate and Trust community
• Maintaining existing business relationships and cultivating new ones
• Maintaining relationships with and advise clients in Estate and Trust matters
• Perform extensive tax compliance, research, consulting and planning for individual, fiduciary, not for profit (private foundation), gift and estate tax

Skills/Knowledge:

• Significant experience providing gift and estate planning strategies to high-net-worth clients
• Significant experience in working with estate tax, gift tax and fiduciary income tax returns
• Knowledge of fiduciary accounting concepts
• Technical expertise in relevant areas
• Ability to provide seamless, integrated services to clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
