Job Description
The senior wealth advisor at Mariner will lead a team to develop comprehensive wealth plans, including coordinated financial strategies aligned with client goals and values. The ideal candidate is an experienced planner, a thoughtful listener, and a team-oriented professional driven to grow both personally and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships, fostering confidence through expertise and ongoing needs assessment.
- Lead client meetings throughout the wealth planning process to identify complex issues and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to provide tailored advice and investment portfolios for high-net-worth clients.
- Build new client relationships in partnership with strategic allies.
- Engage in continuous education and team development.
- Mentor and train associates within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial planning, accounting, legal, or related fields.
- Series 65, CFP, or CFA certification required.
Skills and Knowledge
- Experience with fee-based consulting, tax, mutual funds, insurance, and financial planning.
- Proven experience working with high-net-worth clients.
- Proficiency in financial planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuide Pro).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Experience in training and mentoring staff.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
