Base pay range

$200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

A dynamic trading firm is seeking an experienced Sr Risk Manager to oversee and enhance risk management across their market, liquidity, operational, and credit functions. This position will work closely with first line traders to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks with a focus on capital markets (derivatives).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute effective risk management practices.
  • Identify, assess, and manage risks within front-office trading activities.
  • Lead issue management, including the identification, tracking, and resolution of risk incidents.
  • Collaborate with traders and senior stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure adherence to risk policies.
  • Develop and maintain risk reporting, providing actionable insights to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., FRM, PRM) preferred.
  • Proven experience in risk management within capital markets.
  • Strong knowledge of front-office trading processes, products (FX, equities, fixed income, derivatives), and associated risks.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
