Base pay range

$135,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

Role: Senior Cloud Security Analyst

Comp: up to 135k

Location: Washington, DC (3 days in office per week, 2 days work from home)

A US based lobby and political action committee is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Analyst to join their growing information security team asap!

You will report to the Director of Cybersecurity and will establish a strong security posture within cloud platforms, services and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Improve security monitoring, alerting and automated response capabilities
• Identify/respond to any cyber threats within cloud environments
• Build/maintain playbooks/automated response capabilities
• Find configuration abnormalities, permissions, user behaviors, workloads and other indicators of compromise

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a security based role with hands on experience with cloud tools/technologies
• Experience with event analysis within a SIEM and cloud native tools
• Experience interpreting cloud platform alerts/events and parsing through logs
• Strong understanding of threat landscape
• Experience securing cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, M365
• Understanding of cybersecurity standards/frameworks
