The Senior Tax Manager will play a key role in the partner succession strategy for the Peachtree City office.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide final technical review on tax returns and documents for the majority of client base.
  • Research tax issues and develop resolutions and recommendations.
  • Stay updated on developments and changes in tax law and accounting procedures.
  • Coordinate and exercise authority for planning, organizing, and interfacing with clients to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure their best interests are achieved.
  • Support and direct staff activities to meet objectives and budgets, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Monitor quality and performance of staff and processes.
  • Manage tasks/projects assigned to staff and supervisors.
  • Contribute to staff development and training.
  • Build and leverage networks to develop new business opportunities.
  • Oversee billing, collections, and monitor WIP, aging, and write-downs.
  • Participate in in-house CPE and training activities.

Qualifications:

  • CPA Certification required.
  • Minimum 10 years of public accounting experience.
  • Leadership ability demonstrated.
  • Strong decision-making skills and initiative.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Organizational skills to prioritize workload.
