Program Overview & Role

Peraton is seeking an experienced Malware Analyst for the USCYBERCOM program, located on-site at Fort Meade, MD.

In this role, you will:

  1. Represent USCYBERCOM to provide requirements and integration support for malware analysis.
  2. Analyze malware behavior using dynamic analysis and reverse engineering techniques.
  3. Create detailed malware reports to aid in threat identification and mitigation.
  4. Support malware analysis for Mission Assurance products, facilitating and reporting on malware in cyberspace operations.
  5. Update and report on malware tasks via Workflow Management System and participate in technical discussions.
  6. Assist in System Security Plan development and certification/authorization for malware analysis systems.

Qualifications

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Malware Analyst or Engineer.
  3. DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level II Certification or equivalent.
  4. U.S. citizenship and active TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.

Desired:

  1. Knowledge of source code, hex, binary, regular expressions, and log analysis.
  2. Understanding of security protocols, architectures, and tools.
  3. Ability to develop DCO, CNE, and OCO solutions.
  4. Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000.
