Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

CFS has partnered with a real estate/construction organization located in Brighton, MA to hire a full time Accounting Manager . This is an in-office role M-F and reports to the President of the organization with a dotted line to the CFO.

Primary Responsibilities Of The Accounting Manager
  • Track commercial / residential tenant rents in AppFolio and QuickBooks. Maintain records and reports.
  • Track security deposits and return as necessary
  • Track all invoices for payment (personal, properties, condo fees) prepare all checks for signature.
  • Create and maintain files pertaining to trusts, properties, leases etc.
  • Enter all trust accounts payable and receivable in ERP System.
  • Monthly balancing of trust account bank statements, reconciling statements within ERP System and preparation of reports for President’s review.
  • Log weekly expenditure on credit cards
  • Special projects as assigned by the CFO and President.
Qualifications Of The Accounting Manager
  • Excellent accounting skills, ideally coming from an organization with fewer than 50 employees
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up
  • Comfort with MS Office suite and QuickBooks; preference will be give to candidates experienced in Sage 300/Timberline
