Team : In-House Brand Creative (Reporting to a Creative Director)
Discord is seeking a Senior Copywriter with B2B and gaming expertise to help define and evolve its developer-facing brand identity . This is a creative leadership role where you'll shape messaging and storytelling for Discord’s B2B initiatives, especially targeting game studios, developers, and industry partners .

- Lead B2B Creative Strategy : Collaborate with the Creative Director to set the tone and voice for Discord’s developer marketing.
- Concept + Execute Campaigns : Create compelling copy for digital, video, social, events, and experiential channels targeting game developers and studios.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work with marketing, product, design, and community teams to maintain brand cohesion across all platforms.
- Audience Alignment : Understand the needs, culture, and language of Discord’s developer community and speak directly to them.
- Agency & Partner Management : Coordinate with external creatives, developers, influencers, and production teams to execute big ideas.
- Project Ownership : From concept to final asset delivery—manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and brand standards.
What You Bring
- 10+ years in creative copywriting, with 3–5+ years in B2B or developer-focused work
- A strong portfolio that proves your ability to craft engaging, smart B2B work—ideally for tech, gaming, or creative tools
- Deep familiarity with gaming culture , trends, and terminology
- Experience building campaigns across digital, video, events, social, and experiential
- Excellent storytelling, strategy, and senior stakeholder communication skills
- Previous success working both in-house and with external agencies or production teams
- Ability to turn complex technical ideas into simple, compelling copy
- Experience working in or closely with a game development studio
- Passion for Discord and the developer/gaming ecosystem
- Fluency in trends across digital media, gaming content, and brand storytelling
- Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma , or knowledge of the creative production process
- Experience contributing to event marketing or live campaigns
- Work at the intersection of gaming, technology, and creative storytelling
