We are hiring a Manager, B2B Growth Marketing to join our team located in Washington, DC or Miami, FL.
As The Business Development Representative (BDR) You Will

  • Lead multi-channel growth efforts across outbound, ABM, paid and organic LinkedIn, webinars, SEO, and referral programs.
  • Design and launch targeted campaigns that generate high-intent leads and support sales conversion across the funnel.
  • Build and optimize marketing automations—including lead scoring, segmentation, and nurture flows—to accelerate conversion and reduce CAC.
  • Continuously run experiments—testing, analyzing, and scaling what works while moving quickly away from what does not work.
  • Partner closely with SDRs, AEs, and RevOps to refine ICP targeting, messaging, and marketing-to-sales handoffs.
  • Own and improve critical metrics—CAC, lead quality, lead-to-opportunity conversion, and pipeline velocity.
Essential Qualifications For This Position Include
  • 4+ years of professional work experience in B2B growth or demand generation marketing (ideally working within a SaaS startup)
  • Ability to build and scale programs that directly drive pipeline and revenue
  • Ability to operate CRMs and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Zapier, Apollo, Clay, Make, etc.)
  • Ability to communicate and cross-functionally collaborate with sales teams
  • Knowledge of performance marketing strategy and the sales funnel
Preferred Qualifications For This Position Include
  • Prior professional work experience owning pipeline KPIs - MQLs, SQLs, CAC, and lead-to-deal conversion
  • Prior professional work experience targeting mid-market and enterprise decision-makers in public affairs, government relations, or policy sectors
  • Prior professional work experience in a start-up organization
  • Ability to be creative, agile, and execute with rigor and urgency
This is a hybrid work opportunity and our teams operate from the Washington, DC office (located at L and 15th St. NW) and from the Miami, FL office (located in the Wynwood area) at least 4 (four) days per week. State Affairs offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package to employees.
The annual compensation range for this role as it is posted is $90,000 to $140,000 for candidates working from the State Affairs office in Washington, DC or Miami, FL. The final job level and annual salary will be determined based on the education, qualification, knowledge, skills, ability, and experience of the final candidate(s), and calibrated against relevant market data and internal team equity. Benefits listed in this posting may vary depending on the nature of your employment with State Affairs.
