Position Overview: Senior Client Executive

Location: DC Metro Area Preferred | Remote/Hybrid Considered for Highly Qualified Candidates

As a Senior Client Executive, you will lead strategic sales efforts for Hitachi Vantara Federal, delivering innovative technology solutions and professional services to both new and existing clients within the federal space.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and develop new business opportunities while managing and growing relationships within an assigned named account base. You’ll work closely with a dedicated Sales Engineer and cross-functional teams to design and present tailored solutions that meet evolving customer requirements.

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship management, and technical acumen. Success will be measured by your ability to drive revenue growth, deepen customer engagement, and effectively position Hitachi Vantara Federal’s offerings in a competitive federal landscape.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand engagement within existing customer divisions, while partnering with your assigned Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to design targeted campaigns and prospect into new federal agencies
  • Drive pipeline growth to ensure that quarterly and annual sales quotas are met or exceeded
  • Partner with the Federal reseller community to expand Hitachi Vantara Federal’s install base
  • Develop sales presentations and value messaging that support HVF value propositions and industry differentiators within named accounts
  • Help drive, execute, and reinforce the GTM strategy and target performance area sales campaigns to drive net new growth
  • The role will report to the Civilian Sales Manager

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • 7-10+ years of successful quota attainment selling infrastructure and analytics in the federal marketplace
  • Successful track record of selling to DHS, DOJ, U.S. Courts
  • Established relationships within the Federal reseller community
  • High degree of proficiency in the federal market and comprehension of industry trends, client needs, and business drivers
  • Strong business acumen and experience developing and delivering client-facing sales presentations
  • Proven prospecting skills to consistently find new opportunities
  • Work under minimal supervision on complex projects – strong self-motivation
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships

Key Performance Indicators

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a minimum of 3x quota coverage
  • Target and close new logos
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets

Required

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts in those states that require it, the expected base salary for this position is:

Base Salary Range: $150K – $170K

On Target Earnings: $300K to $340K

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
