Lead Sales Strategy into a New Era of Excellence
The Diplomat Beach Resort , South Florida’s iconic oceanfront destination, is preparing for an exciting transformation into the Signia by Hilton brand in 2026. As our Director of Sales on the leadership team, you’ll drive performance at a world-class resort and help shape the commercial vision for its next chapter as part of Hilton’s premier meetings-and-events brand. This is your opportunity to lead through growth, inspire a high-performing team, and make a lasting impact on one of Hilton’s flagship properties.

The Director of Sales is responsible for maximizing the asset's value by driving above-market topline revenues and creating a world-class culture to attract and retain top talent across specific commercial functions. Hilton seeks strategic leaders who understand how to integrate people, processes, and performance to create a winning formula.

Hilton’s Commercial Services organization includes sales, revenue, marketing, catering and events management, call centers, and analytics teams. These are core to Hilton’s “commercial engine,” essential for driving profitable growth.

What will I be doing?

Key deliverables include setting deployment plans, team composition, and establishing a performance cadence based on predictive and prescriptive analytics.

Strong leadership, communication, and networking skills are essential. You will facilitate the delivery of the Americas Commercial Operating Model related to rooms (and banquets) sales.

  • Set and deliver sales targets across revenue streams including group rooms, banquets, catering, and transient sales.

  • Align sales activities with market demand, contribute to revenue forecasts, and execute strategies for different demand periods.
  • Maximize profits in line with GOP and EBITDA targets, operating within budget constraints.
  • Develop market intelligence on competitors and industry activity.

Leadership:

  • Lead regular business review and sales strategy meetings.
  • Manage performance processes for sales team members.
  • Collaborate with the DOSM to develop and update the sales strategy plan.
  • Oversee site visit strategies and ensure brand standards are maintained.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop sales team members, conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
  • Foster a culture aligned with Hilton’s DEI and ESG goals.

Ownership, Customer, and Stakeholder Relations:

  • Report on performance and commercial activity metrics.
  • Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales and external partners like CVBs and travel agencies.
  • Support team site visits and pre-convention meetings.
