SENIOR STAFF – CIVIL & GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER
FORT COLLINS, COLORADO
Job Description
A variety of responsibilities is what makes this role exciting! You will engage in various types of work to ensure the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities will include supporting senior staff for mine-permitting, operations and closure design; this position requires a high level of written and oral communication skills. Willingness to travel on temporary assignments as needed. You will also work with multi-disciplinary teams including geotechnical, civil, mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineers to meet our client’s expectations and needs. Typical Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Support project management
• Perform analyses and prepare reports/drawings
• Help oversee junior staff
• Interface with clients
• As needed, assist market sector lead with marketing and preparation of proposals and cost estimates
• Assist on project work for other market sectors as needed
• Construction Management is anticipated for this position
  

• B.S. in Civil Engineering and M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering
• P.E. required in Colorado, PE in other South-Western States a plus
• 5-8 years of experience in tailings impoundments, heap-leach pads, waste rock piles, and mine reclamation

• Deformation Analyses
• Geo-civil analyses and design
