We are seeking a Senior Electrical Liaison Engineer to serve as the critical bridge between design engineering, manufacturing, and quality control for custom low-voltage power distribution equipment. This hands-on role ensures that electrical designs are both manufacturable and optimized for production, while also supporting real-time problem-solving on the factory floor. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering, paired with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills to collaborate across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site technical support to manufacturing teams during the assembly of complex electrical systems and power distribution equipment.
  • Evaluate engineering designs for manufacturability, providing actionable feedback to design teams.
  • Develop, document, and optimize point-to-point wiring and build processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in real time on the production floor.
  • Support quality inspections and resolve non-conformance issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering to refine design standards and improve manufacturability.
  • Create and maintain accurate technical documentation including wiring diagrams, test procedures, and work instructions.
  • Train production staff on proper assembly methods and quality benchmarks.
  • Assist in the rollout and support of design software such as AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Serve as a key liaison between remote engineering resources and onsite operations.
  • Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency and product quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with power distribution systems or low-voltage equipment manufacturing.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC, UL, and NEMA standards (especially UL 891 and UL 1558).
  • Experience with switchgear, switchboards, control systems, and related low-voltage assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools.
  • Practical troubleshooting expertise for electrical and control systems.
  • Familiarity with shop floor processes and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with custom-engineered or engineer-to-order electrical products.
  • Exposure to data center or mission-critical power systems.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control circuits, or industrial automation.
  • Background in implementing or improving manufacturing documentation and workflows.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Prior experience as a liaison or in a cross-functional engineering/manufacturing support role.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives
  • Comprehensive health and retirement benefits
  • Opportunities for career advancement in a growing organization
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment
  • Professional development and training programs
