About The Role
Nefab is seeking a Regional Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate engineering activities across the Americas region, including the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Brazil. This role is critical in ensuring the engineering structure, competencies, and tools are aligned to support high-performance delivery to our global, triple-A customers.
This position will oversee 50+ engineers across the region (direct and indirect reports), support engineering managers at key sites, and ensure we have the right people in place to meet customer demands and strategic initiatives.
You’ll be embedded in one of our major regional engineering sites , actively engaging with local teams while aligning globally with our Engineering and Company strategy.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and coordinate engineering teams and managers across multiple sites in the Americas
• Serve as an interim or backup engineering manager if a local manager is unavailable
• Ensure appropriate engineering resources are hired, trained, and retained to support sales and customer needs
• Oversee implementation and use of engineering tools, software, and quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
• Support regional and global projects, ensuring alignment with cross-functional stakeholders (sales, operations, design, etc.)
• Drive regional KPIs, including engineering utilization, GreenCalc assessments, cost/CO₂ savings, and project prioritization
• Encourage alignment with Nefab’s Engineering Directive and continuous improvement from employee feedback
  

Required Experience & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years managing engineering teams (multi-site or international preferred)
• Familiarity with CAD and engineering data management systems
• Industry background in packaging or any of our Global Key Account industries is a strong asset
• Proven track record working in matrix organizations with high customer demands
