Description
Design circuit boards and conduct electrical characterization and validation for technology development and product prototypes. Analyze and evaluate design feasibility to meet requirements, including optics, signal integrity/power integrity, mechanical/thermal constraints, and system coexistence. Participate in cross-functional design reviews and contribute to overall system design. Communicate and present technology updates and project status to cross-functional teams. Perform failure analysis on electrical, mechanical, and optical issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS degree with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience in mixed-signal EE design at IC or PCB level.
- Proficiency in circuit/math analysis, modeling, and simulation tools like SPICE or MATLAB.
- Experience with HW prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and failure analysis.
- Skills in scripting, data processing, test automation, and programming in Python, Shell, MATLAB, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
- Self-driven, highly motivated, with a passion for innovation and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
- Proficiency in EE validation/characterization, lab equipment, and test automation.
- Experience developing factory test plans and managing manufacturing data collection and analysis.
- Ability to communicate technical updates to executives and teams.
- Experience in three or more of the following areas: digital and analog circuit design, high-speed signal analysis, consumer electronics, modern display technologies (LCD, TFT, OLED, LED).
