Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Learning Engineer in Poway, CA. The Autonomy and Artificial Intelligence Solutions Software group develops and deploys end-to-end autonomous systems for unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and communicate insights/algorithms of limited scope.
- Use machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to improve product/system performance, quality, data management, and accuracy.
- Translate algorithms and technical specifications into code using programming languages and technologies.
- Complete programming, testing, debugging, documentation, and procedures for installation and maintenance.
- Apply deep learning technologies for visualization, learning, and response to situations.
- Lead technical teams and scope projects into executable sprints.
- Drive code reviews and adhere to DevSecOps and MLOps practices.
- Adapt machine learning to areas like virtual reality, augmented reality, AI, robotics, etc.
- Interface with external vendors and partners for technology integration.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned, observing all laws and safety procedures.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and two+ years of machine learning experience or equivalent.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and principles.
- Experience in developing scalable software architectures and optimizing AI models for edge processing.
- Strong coding skills in Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Python.
- Experience with AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary range: $98,100 - $171,398
