Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer – eVTOL Aircraft

Salary: $85k-$187k + 15% Annual Bonus

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or GC holder only

An innovative eVTOL aircraft company is seeking a Senior Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join its aeromechanical team. In this role, you’ll lead the design and optimization of the aircraft’s electrical harness and avionics enclosures—playing a key role in bringing next-generation aircraft into scalable production by 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of vehicle electrical harnesses and avionics enclosures.
  • Ensure performance, weight optimization, manufacturability, and compliance.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, thermal modeling, and stress analysis.
  • Create detailed CAD designs and manufacturing drawings; validate performance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on specs, sourcing, and production quality.
  • Support system-level testing and ongoing design improvement.
  • Contribute to design standards and drive innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience in harness and enclosure design (aerospace or automotive preferred).
  • Strong with CATIA, electrical routing, and thermal/structural simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS).
  • Solid understanding of thermal management, materials, and electrical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and creative engineering mindset.
