Group/Division

With over 40 years of experience, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG) develops all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, supporting chipmakers worldwide. The Broadband Plasma Division (BBP) provides optical inspection systems for advanced IC manufacturing, including flagship products like the 29xx and 39xx series, which detect yield-critical defects at high speeds.

Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop test fixtures, procedures, and scripts for digital and analog electronics boards, including FPGA testing, qualification, and characterization.
  2. Define electrical subsystem requirements, specifications, and interfaces based on system needs.
  3. Design and prototype analog/digital circuits, create schematics, and layout PCBs to develop new system capabilities.
  4. Participate in design reviews for components, PCB circuits, and FPGA implementations.
  5. Conduct subsystem and system-level integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  6. Prepare design and test documentation for engineering and manufacturing teams.
  7. Collaborate with development, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure smooth product transition.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Strong knowledge of analog circuit design and noise analysis.
  2. Experience with mixed analog and high-speed digital circuit design.
  3. Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as OrCAD and Cadence Allegro.
  4. FPGA design and implementation experience is a plus.
  5. Excellent teamwork skills across multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams.
  6. Ability to multitask, take ownership, and communicate effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctorate with 3+ years, Master's with 6+ years, or Bachelor's with 8+ years of related experience.
