What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Establish sustainable relationships with assigned accounts, serving as the primary technical contact
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Account Manager to identify strategic technical activities for sales growth
- Oversee technical engagements, mapping customer requirements to engineering software solutions
- Review technical support activities and ensure quality goals are met through local support teams
- Lead account-based marketing strategies to drive technology deployment and adoption
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum years of professional experience: BS+8, MS+6, or PhD+3 in an engineering software environment
- Demonstrated use of relevant engineering software (CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25% of the time
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Preferred education and experience: BS+12, MS+10, or PhD+7 in an engineering software environment
- 4 years of experience in application engineering, customer support, or consulting services
- Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time
