Adjunct Lecturer or Adjunct Assistant Professor - Business & Information Systems Department

FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The ability to teach courses including Accounting, Computer Programming, Computer Applications, General Business, Marketing, and Paralegal Studies.

Day, Evening, Saturday, and Sunday teaching may be required. Course load may include online, hybrid, and on-campus classes.

Performs teaching, research, and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for department assignments including administrative, assessment, and other functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

For Adjunct Assistant Professor:

1. Doctorate in appropriate area(s) of Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems, or equivalent.
2. For Accounting, Doctorate in Accounting or Master’s degree (MBA preferred) and an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
3. For Paralegal Studies, Juris Doctor and admission to the Bar Association.

For Adjunct Lecturer:

1. Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.

Preferred Qualification:

1. Master’s degree or JD without Bar Association admission, in area(s) of expertise.

Also required for all titles, is the ability to teach and/or prior college teaching experience preferred.

COMPENSATION

Salary is commensurate with education and experience.

For Adjunct Lecturer: $100.41/hr

For Adjunct Assistant Professor: $109.54/hr
