About The Role
We are seeking a passionate Research Scientist to help build our AI Research Team. You will conduct world-class research on autonomous systems and closed-loop simulation, influencing our autonomy stacks from prototype to mass production. You will work with large-scale driving data and diverse sensors to develop industry-leading models, contributing to and learning from best practices in the autonomy industry. Your research will directly impact our products and benefit our customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct research on end-to-end autonomy, multi-modal foundation models, closed-loop simulation, and view synthesis.
- Collaborate on research publications for top-tier conferences.
- Work with research engineers and engineering teams to test and deploy algorithms.
Qualifications:
- Strong research record in AI and autonomous systems with publications in top conferences or journals.
- MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer vision, or related fields.
- Passion for scalable autonomy in real-world systems.
- Strong research skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred experience:
- Experience in autonomy stack, multi-view perception, reinforcement learning, traffic simulation, 3D reconstruction, or multi-modal models.
We offer competitive compensation, including base salary ($158,000 - $304,000 USD), equity, and benefits. The position is based in the specified location, with salary influenced by experience and qualifications.
