Assistant Professor of Practice in Operations Management, Operations and Information Management Division

Babson College is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor of Practice in Operations Management starting in the academic year. The position is primarily at the Assistant level, with consideration for exceptional candidates at the Associate level. We seek candidates who align with our mission of educating responsible entrepreneurial leaders and who can contribute to our academic community.

Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching Operations Management at undergraduate and graduate levels to a diverse, entrepreneurial, and global student body.
  • Proven excellence in teaching, including online and hybrid modalities.
  • Team player with willingness to collaborate across disciplines.
  • Interest in developing practical or scholarly materials for broader community contribution.
  • Commitment to inclusive and engaging teaching practices.
  • Industry or practical experience in Operations Management (e.g., consulting, entrepreneurship).

This is a non-remote position requiring physical presence on campus. A graduate degree in Business or Operations Management is required.

About the Division:

The Operations and Information Management (OIM) Division at Babson comprises 11 faculty members, including professors with Ph.D.s and consulting experience, 8 professors of practice with industry connections, and 9 adjunct practitioners.
