Intellectual Property Attorney | Patent, Trademark, & IP Litigation Roles

Locations: Major U.S. Markets + Hybrid/Flexible

Focus Areas: Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, IP Strategy & Licensing

We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intellectual Property attorney to join a leading IP practice. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact matters involving IP prosecution, transactions, and litigation across a wide range of industries and technologies.

• Draft and prosecute patent and/or trademark applications
• Conduct IP due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses
• Advise on licensing , portfolio strategy, and IP enforcement
• Support litigation efforts including motion practice and trial prep
• Negotiate and draft IP-related agreements (licensing, development, confidentiality)

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Active bar license; USPTO registration preferred (for patent work)
• 3–6 years of IP experience (litigation, prosecution, or transactions)
• Strong writing, analytical, and client-facing skills
• Technical background (e.g., engineering, computer science, life sciences) preferred
• Trademark prosecution and enforcement
• Tech transactions , open-source compliance, and licensing
• Supporting IP in M&A and corporate transactions
