Litigation Associate (Bankruptcy/Finance) – Boutique Law Firm – Remote Opportuni

About the Position:
Our client, a Chicago boutique law firm, is actively seeking a commercial litigator, ideally with exposure to bankruptcy/financial services matters, to join its thriving practice as an associate. Strong opportunity for growth and advancement, working closely with a busy partner at the firm.

Responsibilities:
· Represent clients with commercial litigation matters, particularly relating to bankruptcy and/or financial services (commercial real estate bankruptcies/Chapter 11 cases)
· Draft and respond to pleadings and written discovery
· Take and defend depositions
· Communicate directly with clients

Required Qualifications:
· 5 or more years of financial services/bankruptcy litigation experience
· Experience drafting and responding to pleadings and written discovery, as well as handling depositions
· Excellent writing skills
· Hands-on or trial experience is a strong plus

Location:
Chicago, IL (Remote)

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000 – $175,000, depending on experience.
