Senior Trademark Paralegal Opening at a Global Firm

Position Overview:

Support the management and administration of trademark portfolios, including U.S. and international filings. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the preparation, filing, prosecution, and maintenance of trademark applications with the USPTO.
• Initiating and coordinating foreign filings with international agents.
• Monitoring deadlines and maintaining up-to-date prosecution status reports.
• Communicating with clients on application statuses and related updates.
• Conducting online trademark searches and investigative tasks.
• Preparing due diligence reports and organizing relevant documentation.
• Managing and updating client files and docket systems.

Candidate Profile:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in trademark law or a comparable legal environment is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in following complex instructions.
• Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and accountability.
• Excellent research, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed to meet client or business demands.
