A law firm is seeking a Trial Attorney specializing in Premises Liability in Austin, TX. The role involves managing a high-volume caseload, engaging with clients, and advocating in trials. The attorney will conduct key litigation activities and serve as lead counsel in jury trials, ensuring favorable outcomes for clients.
Duties
- Manage approximately 150 cases, with around 50 in active litigation monthly.
- Maintain proactive and transparent communication with clients.
- Conduct depositions, draft and respond to motions, and lead mediations.
- Serve as lead counsel in jury trials.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years practicing personal injury or civil litigation; 5-8 years preferred.
- Active and in good standing with the Texas State Bar; multiple state bar admissions preferred.
- Extensive jury trial experience with at least 5+ first-chair trial verdicts; 10+ preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in Texas.
Skills
- Strong legal acumen and understanding of civil procedure and evidence rules.
- Ability to articulate case strategies effectively.
