Summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic role in aligning human resources practices with business objectives to drive organizational success. This role is rooted in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, providing HR guidance to business leaders, fostering a high-performance culture, and supporting HR initiatives for our Facilities Engineering Operations & Maintenance (FEO&M) services. You will support a Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in the commercial, mechanical services, Plumbing, HVAC industries, and our programs in the GOVCON sector requiring U.S. Security Clearances up to T/S w/Poly. Expertise in talent acquisition and workforce planning is essential.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with corporate goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor on talent management, workforce planning, employee relations, and recruitment.
- Support the FEO&M SBU and GOVCON programs, including managing security clearance requirements.
- Drive engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.
- Guide performance management processes and coach managers.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Implement HR initiatives such as promotions, succession planning, leadership development, and benefits.
- Analyze HR metrics and recommend improvements.
- Support change management and business transformation efforts.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts, collaborating with hiring managers and overseeing recruitment strategies.
- Assist the Director of Talent Acquisition in managing the recruiting team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of HR experience, including talent acquisition, in engineering, construction, or telecom sectors.
- Strong business acumen and HR strategy implementation skills.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills.
- Strong analytical skills for HR data interpretation.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.
