Location:

Duties:
- Manage a variety of insurance defense cases in multiple areas, including General Liability, Bodily Injury, Nursing Home/ALF, First Party Property, Construction Defect, and Trucking.
- Develop and implement early resolution strategies to facilitate case closure and improve client outcomes.
- Provide timely and comprehensive updates to clients regarding the progress of their cases.
- Participate in trial preparation, including motion filings, case management, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with team members to craft effective case strategies and identify opportunities for early resolution.
- Take part in weekly training, mentoring sessions, and roundtables to enhance legal skills and career development.
- Leverage case management systems and technology to streamline case handling and ensure efficiency.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including networking and client development, with support from the firm’s Client Development team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience handling insurance defense matters.
- Experience in handling cases in General Liability, Bodily Injury, First Party Property, and related areas is preferred.
- Ability to explore and apply early resolution strategies and alternatives to traditional litigation.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a responsive relationship with clients.
- Commitment to timely and accurate reporting of case progress to clients.
- Proficiency with case management systems and legal technology.
- Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage caseloads.
- A proactive approach to improving the industry and work environment.
- Knowledge of AIM/Perfect Law is a plus.
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
