What role will you play?
As Associate General Counsel, you will support US registered and unregistered investment companies, including fund formation, regulatory filings, product development, and board support. Additionally, you will handle private equity secondaries funds, related portfolio investments (e.g., M&A, private placements, complex securities), general corporate matters, and other special projects.
Salary range for this position: $247,000-300,000 / Year. Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer
- 6-8 years of legal experience in the investment management space
- Deep expertise with the Investment Company Act of 1940, US federal securities laws, and the financial services industry, preferably with experience in liquid alternative products
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across various teams in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface regularly with C-level executives and department heads
- A proactive and collaborative mindset focused on delivering results in a fast-paced setting.
