Job Overview:
A highly regarded law firm in Miami, FL is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This position is ideal for attorneys with 2–7 years of litigation experience who are seeking career advancement in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day case responsibilities and be expected to participate actively in court proceedings, depositions, and client communication.

Duties:
Conduct legal research and prepare case analyses
Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, and legal memoranda
Handle pre-trial activities, including taking and defending depositions
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Manage litigation files from inception through resolution
Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on case strategy and preparation
Requirements:
2–7 years of experience in commercial litigation
Demonstrated experience in depositions and courtroom appearances
Strong legal reasoning and analytical abilities
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active and good standing membership with the Florida State Bar (required)

Strong advocacy and negotiation skills
Drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
