Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Of Counsel attorney for its Riverside, CA office. The role will involve defending and litigating a wide range of employment-related claims, advising and counseling employers on labor law matters, and representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience managing employment litigation cases in a first-chair capacity, with a strong understanding of class actions, wage-and-hour disputes, discrimination, harassment, and other employment-related issues.

Duties:
- Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges.
- Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law matters.
- Represent employers in court, arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations.
- Handle various employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.
- Manage litigation cases in a first-chair capacity, ensuring quality representation and timely resolution of matters.
- Provide guidance and supervision to associates and paralegals, delegating assignments and offering feedback as necessary.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in employment litigation, with significant experience managing cases in a first-chair capacity.
- Class Action/PAGA experience preferred but not required.
- In-depth understanding of both state and federal agency procedures.
- Proven ability to handle complex employment-related claims in a variety of legal forums.
- Supervisory experience over associates and paralegals, including delegating tasks and providing constructive feedback.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
Certifications:
- Active and current membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
