We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated, and experienced Associate Attorney with at least two years of experience in business immigration law to join our collaborative legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to grow their practice, take ownership of complex cases, and contribute meaningfully to client strategy and success. We are considering either a Full-time or Contract Attorney.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and file a wide range of employment-based petitions, including:
- Nonimmigrant visas: H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, E-1/2/3
- Immigrant visas and green cards: EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2/3, NIW, PERM - Draft complex legal documents, client correspondence, and support letters
- Develop case strategies in collaboration with partners and paralegals
- Directly advise and communicate with clients on case status, compliance strategies, and immigration policy updates
- Attend USCIS interviews as needed
- Assist in developing corporate immigration policies and I-9/E-Verify compliance guidance
- Stay informed on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and agency policies
- Optionally contribute to firm blogs, newsletters, or speaking engagements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Bar admission (Massachusetts preferred; good standing required)
- Minimum of 2 years of employment-based immigration experience (prior paralegal or analyst experience may be considered)
- Demonstrated experience managing high-volume caseloads and deadlines
- Strong command of business immigration processes, especially H-1B, PERM, L-1, and EB petitions
- Excellent legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing high-quality client service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Industry experience across healthcare, higher education, technology, or life sciences preferred
