Interventional Radiology RN (Overnight Shift)

Facility : Mount Sinai Hospital
Location : 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029
Start Date : 09/02/2025
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Overnight (4×10-Hour, 22:00–08:30)

Requirements :

• Licensure : Active NY RN license (required).
• Experience :
  • 2+ years in IR, Critical Care, or PACU (required).
  • 1+ year travel experience (for travel positions).
  • Procedures : Radiation safety, post-procedural recovery, hemodynamic monitoring.
• Certifications : BLS, ACLS (required).
• Skills :
  • Epic proficiency (highly preferred).
  • Patient ratio: 3:1 (post-procedure recovery).

Unit Details :

• Scope : IR procedures, patient recovery, potential floats to Radiology (CT/MRI) and PACU .
• Patient Population : Complex interventional cases (vascular, neuro, oncology).
• Key Responsibilities :
  • Pre/post-procedure care, sedation monitoring, emergency response.
