**Job Title: Night Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse** **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) **Location:** Ohio **Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse to join our team for a night shift position. This rewarding role requires your essential skills in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry readings.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed and in accordance with established protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and care provided.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. **Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
- Must have at least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel.
- Active Ohio nursing license or compact state nursing license in hand.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to the start date.
- One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required for submission. Charge RN references are acceptable. **Requirements:**
- Applicants must be level-headed and equipped with strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. **Additional Information:**
Travelers may be submitted for one job at a time within the hospital system.
