Description :
ACLS/BLS Required. Float Required. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body. Solid black scrubs are required. RTO due on submission Only allowing 7 days max of RTO. Candidates will be automatically rejected if they have more than 7 days requested. Block schedules are accepted on a case-by-case basis. If candidates are interested in a block schedule they must be available to work on weekends (Friday through Monday). Please list this in the comment section and on their submission packet. Must have an accredited degree through the ACEN or CCNE to be considered.
Unit Description
This is a 25-bed Unit Med/Surg/Tele acuity adaptable unit. ACLS/BLS required. The ratios will vary based on patient level of care needs. (1:5 to 1:6) Looking for Med/Surg trained nurses with telemetry capabilities AND at least 2 + years of recent MS/TELE experience. Recent EPIC and Phlebotomy experience (within last 12 months) also required. Floating is required as necessary and is based on census and available staff. Charge RN experience Required. We do require interviews. (Charge nurse Role) : takes a patient assignment, Pyxis checks, crash cart checks, assign admissions, liaison to supervisor, assign breaks and meals, makes assignment based on care needs for next shift.
